Instructions for Printing the Student Resource Packet

Do you still need to print your 2017 Student Resource Packet? Don't sweat it! I searched online and couldn't find any instructions, so I tried to figure it out myself. I'm a first-year Essentials mom, so it is possible I made a mistake, but my son's SRP looks pretty good to me! 😉 Read on the for simple instructions!

{How-To:}

{1} Compose an email to your local Office Max or Office Depot. (If you give them a call, they should be able to provide you with an email address to which you can send your printing projects.)

{2} To the email, attach a PDF of the Student Resource Packet. (Instructions for  downloading are found in the front of your IEW U.S. History-Based Writing Lessons - Student Book.)

{3} Into the body of your email, copy and paste the instructions below that appear in bold. (Please note that I have two sets of instructions. The first set is recommended for those who already have tabbed sections, and the second set if for those who do not already have tabbed sections.)

{4} When you receive an email saying that your project is done, go pick up your beautiful Student Resource Packet! Be sure to show the copyright release (the blue sheet in the front of your IEW U.S. History-Based Writing Lessons - Student Book) and your Classical Conversations discount card for some major savings. (I believe our discount fluctuates based on how much it is being used in a given month, so please do not expect this exact amount, but it cost me less than $6.00 including tax. I used the first method, without the yellow dividing pages.)

*Note: I printed the pages for use in a binder, which was given to me by my Director. The binder includes tabbed sections, so I did not have the dividing pages copied yellow as suggested in the SRP, since these are redundant for me, and I will be recycling them. If you want to have your SRP bound, you may need to tweak the instructions slightly.

Recommended for those who already have tabbed sections.

Recommended for those who do not already have tabbed sections. If you want your divider pages (the ones in SOLAR YELLOW) to be thicker, you might want to request these in cardstock.

    Can you use this same process for Staples? Will they have different color coding options?
