Giveaway!
The Sweet Gospel + Floral Ampersand Art Print

10/7/2018 Update: Since I published this post in early August, the Biblical Homemaking blog and Facebook page have been taken down. I do not know Mandy personally and I never had direct contact with her, so I do not know why her blog and Facebook page have been deleted. I enjoyed following along with her, so I'm sad too!

Because I like supporting my favorite bloggers.
Because we are called to share the gospel.
Because ampersands are cool, and watercolor florals are lovely.
Because yesterday was my second "blogiversary," and I feel like celebrating.

All of these reasons, especially the last, mean that it's high time for a GIVEAWAY!

The Sweet Gospel: 13 Weeks of Savoring the Good News by Mandy Ballard

Mandy Ballard [she is just the sweetest!] of Biblical Homemaking published a 13-week Bible study that is a perfect reminder of the foundational tenants of Christianity. It would also be a lovely gift for someone who isn't necessarily a Christian and wants to learn more.

From the publisher:

The good news of the gospel is simple and sweet: God has provided a way for you to fellowship with Him again. You could never be good enough or moral enough to get there on your own. No amount of singing His praise, no amount of being good to others, no amount of following of the Bible, no amount of offering thanksgiving will ever bring you to salvation. You cannot offer anything in exchange for His beautiful grace to cover your sin. It is a free gift through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. This book is an invitation to "taste and see that the Lord is good" -- to accept the free gift of salvation and to savor it.

Each weekly chapter provides a Biblical look into the sweet tenets of the gospel and a thought-provoking study guide to help you apply what you've learned to your life today. Whether you're new to Christianity or are already following Christ, you'll enjoy this overview of gospel theology as it's explained in everyday English.
This study covers:
Week 1 - The Bible: Who, What, When, Where, How
Week 2 - God: Loving and Eternal Creator
Week 3 - Man, Sin, and the Fall
Week 4 - Jesus: God in the Flesh
Week 5 - The Perfect Sacrifice: Why We Needed It
Week 6 - The Gift of Salvation and Repentance
Week 7 - Leaving Behind the Darkness
Week 8 - Believing and Following Jesus Now
Week 9 - The Holy Spirit: Our Gift
Week 10 - Grace Upon Grace: When We Stumble
Week 11 - The Transforming Power of the Gospel
Week 12 - Seeking God's Will in Our Lives
Week 13 - Walking in Joy with an Eternity Mindset

Abbie, the blogger behind M is for Mama, and her BFF Lindsay collaborate to bring us a variety of fun and beautiful art prints in their store, Paint & Prose.

I have several of their art prints around my home. Their "Floral Ampersand" [pictured above] was part of my gallery wall in the living room.

This "Do Not Grow Weary" print is displayed above my desk in the school room... to help me through the more difficult days.

This #icanteven print rings true and gives me a chuckle every time I flip [yet another] load of laundry from the washer to the dryer.

I don't own this one, but you know I'm all about the coffee print!

Anyhoo, you get it, right?! Abbie and Lindsay make adorable art prints.

I'm sorry to say that I don't know what happened to the Biblical Homemaking blog. It looks like Mandy has taken down both her blog and Facebook page. I do not know her personally and I never had direct contact with her. I don't know her reasons for taking down her blog, and I have no way of finding out. I enjoyed following along with Mandy and am sad too!

It is so strange how the blog just vanished. I really hope she is ok. Probably just wants to focus on her family, but it seems odd that she wouldn’t write a departure post and/or keep her articles available.

How can someone just vanish like that? That doesn’t seem like her. I followed her blog for years! I just don’t understand! Can’t someone find out???

Has anyone ever found out why Mandy just
Vanished? I loved following her. It’s just so strange to me that she wouldn’t of said goodbye. I totally understand needing a break from social media but for some reason I think of her often.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I loved her posts.
Has anyone checked on her to make sure she is okay?
    Uncharacteristic actions are always concerning.
