Your Mid-Week Pick-Me-Up!
We've made it to the middle of the week! I'm excited for today, because we've got a fun field trip planned with friends, and Baby #4 is now 35 weeks along. (Not too much longer now!) Unfortunately, I woke up for the day at 3:30 am (again) due to the hip pain that has plagued all of my pregnancies except for one. So... By the time this afternoon rolls around, I know that I'll be needing a pick-me-up. You too? Try one (or all) of these! {Please note that I am not being endorsed by any of these products or companies. I just genuinely really like them and thought you would too!}
Pick-Me-Up #1: Young House Love Has a Podcast
I don't watch much television, but I do love sneaking in a good podcast here and there while making dinner or folding laundry. (Or while going through my loooong bedtime routine.) #highmaintenance
Lately, I've been loving Young House Love Has a Podcast. John and Sherry are a super-cute couple with two young children. Although they both have backgrounds in advertising, they built their fame on fixing up and decorating three houses through lots of fun DIY projects. Their podcasts are short (30 minutes) and just so fun to listen to. I also love anything relating to decorating/DIY on a budget, so this is right up all my alley. Check them out here.
Pick-Me-Up #2: Free Mac and Cheese from Noodles & Company
(Okay, this pick-me-up is technically for tomorrow, but you could use a pick-me-up on Thursday too, right?) Tomorrow (October 6) is National Noodle Day! To celebrate, Noodles & Company is offering a FREE small Mac & Cheese with any regular purchase! When I'm pregnant (or in the mood for carbs), my favorite entrée is the Whole Grain Tuscan Fresca with Shrimp. When I'm trying to be more careful with what I eat, I love their BUFF Japanese Pan (so yummy and filling!).
Pick-Me-Up #3: A Cat Wearing a Shark Costume Rides on a Roomba
If this YouTube video doesn't make you smile, you might be broken. (Kidding.)
Happy Wednesday! 😉
Thanks for three tip about the noodles! Score!
You're so welcome!
